Outside my window…

Outside my window there’s a party going on in someones back yard. In that back yard they have played Lionel Ritchie’s All Night Long 4 times in 90 minutes and everyone there has sung along. This song has been interspersed with Phil Collins, Tears For Fears, Coldplay, Bob Marley…

Music for old people who don’t like music much.

I walked the dog past their apartment a while back and it’s young people. Young people discussing why John McCain is the man for the job.

I’m going to train my dog to go for the jugular at the first note of a Lionel Ritchie tune in future.

What’s the best way to kill a circus? Go for the juggler…

Kill!
Kill!

where were we?

Ah yes, February, that’s where we was wasn’t we? Talking of Wii, I want one with Dance Dance Revolution dancemats and a lightsabre please. Thank you very much for asking.

So the dog business picked up as I picked up dog business and now it pays the bills along with a little graphic design work that I seem to be picking up too. There’s a lot of picking up being done do you see?

I’m currently liking; my new Ipod (Pod the third), being the musical half of Jersey Petroleum, not smoking, red wine, Rachel’s, going back to college next week, the puppy I look after twice a day and New York cooling down a little.

Apnoea 1

I was walking down some badly lit stairs to a station after a failed shopping trip to buy a toy typewriter for my sister whenapnoea.jpg a well built teenager emergered from the shadows, saying, “give us your stereo”. I replied “Fuck you” and we struggled, his hands round my neck squeezing tighter and tighter, and my hands forcing his face back, my thumbs searching for his eyes, and then my thumb tips are pushing aganst his corneas, the soft flesh of his eyeballs trapped between my thumbnails and thumb flesh, and his grip stopping me breathing altogether, and the darkness descending with a high pitched whistle in my ears as my hands lose their strength. And then I wake up struggling for breath, heart racing, head spinning.

And that’s what sleep apnoea feels like.
